- The Case of Rice-kun's Murder (ch26 pgs13-22)
starter; day 207

From here to the end of the chapter!

Basically, this memory will give Mamori a good base for retaining a lot of her bigger character traits-- protectiveness, a tendency towards being a bit of a goody two-shoes-- but with some flexibility! In the memory, while she yells at Hiruma for... shooting school equipment... and telling Sena and Monta to get involved as well, when she sees that Sena's having fun she decides to let loose a little and join in herself. So both from that and from hearing Kurita talk about Rice-kun's origin, she'll have an immediate appreciation for the concept of "teammates" and what feeling like a part of something can do for people. THIS IS WHY IT'S A SIG POS IN SPITE OF THE... FIRE.

It also gives her a decent amount of context on her life at home-- she's a part of the American football club along with Hiruma, Kurita, Monta and Sena, she's very protective of Sena, and they're preparing to face off against a tough opponent. (And for the sake of getting an amnesia name, I've decided that Mamori didn't overhear Sena saying her name to Monta.)
